Torque sensor going to 0 volts sometimes ?

My Torque sensor has started to go to 0 Volts for a few seconds and then back to normal again, so the assist stops and comes back on. Sometimes it does it for just a few seconds and other times it can last longer.

Anyone who knows exactly why it does this ?

I had the problem before. Then i dismantled the torque sensor plate and adjusted the sensor a bit because the voltage was a bit too low and torqued and greased all the bolts according to the guise. Then it was working for around 400 km. Now it is starting to fail again.

I can't really seem to locate the source of this problem.
Is it the sensor that goes to 0V or is it the bike that is doing some voodoo magic ? Moisture ?

Do you also have the new setting in the service menu sensors "use trace" try to switch it off.

De functie "USE TRACE" is - voor zover ik weet - niet voorzien voor OMNI.

Ik reageer daar op een afbeelding van een OMNI C (kleurendisplay), niet op een afbeelding van een OMNI (monochroom display) ... TS heeft een OMNI op zijn ST2, geen OMNI C.

USE TRACE kwam bij OMNI C vanaf ergens eind februari 2022 (FW 4.3.7.4, helaas geen changelog op de Stromer website) ... de meest recente softwareversie voor OMNI dateert van begin januari 2022 (FW 3.4.2.4) en omvat de toevoeging van een PUK-code, vandaar mijn veronderstelling dat USE TRACE mogelijk niet beschikbaar is voor OMNI.

Als jij nog een OMNI aan boord hebt kan je dit misschien eens checken in het servicemenu van je Stromer ...

Ah! Excuses; Ik had niet (nog) gezien dat het een z/w OMNI betrof. Deze heeft de trace functionaliteit (zover ik heb gezien op de mijne) nog niet inderdaad.

Kunnen we dat oude z/w ding niet gewoon 'OMNI-A' gaan noemen en OMNI als algemene term voor deze unit (los van de versie)?

Couldn't it be a cable issue? It looks like the voltage is dropping when you moved the bike a little....

Will see if I can buy a new sensor if I cannot fix it

UPDATE:

I fixed it.

Just removed the sensor itself and cleaned out the torque sensor plate and because it was dirty and was sometimes blocking and sticking and then refittet the sensor and adjusted it and calibrated it.
